As we build a leading global presence in prostate, we aspire to lead biomarker driven prostate cancer with the development and launch of TALZENNA (talazoparib) in the highly competitive poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitor landscape.As a priority brand for the Oncology portfolio, TALZENNA in prostate cancer has the potential to deliver close to $2B in global peak revenues. We are laser focused on driving robust launch uptake of the first indication in 1L metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCPRC) (TALAPRO-2); approved in the U.S. in June 2023 in homologous recombination repair gene mutation (HRRm) mCRPC, the EU in January 2024 in all-comers mCRPC, and Japan in January 2024 in BRCAm mCRPC. The TALZENNA prostate development program includes a Phase 3 study in the earlier setting of advanced prostate cancer, in combination with XTANDI for adult patients in HRRm metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer (mCSPC) (TALAPRO-3). Estimated US/EU approval in 2H 2026.ROLE SUMMARY:The Global Marketing Director, TALZENNA is a critical role to ensure timely and seamless launch readiness by working with the regions (US, IDM, EM) and cross-functional team to develop and execute against the TALZENNA prostate cancer launch plan. In addition, the role will work closely with the TALZENNA Global Launch Navigator Lead to successfully launch TALZENNA in mCSPC (TALAPRO-3).ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead launch plan development with key stakeholders, both internal (all functions that contribute to the launch readiness within Pfizer) and external (i.e. agencies supporting launch)Lead cross functional team delivery of Pfizer launch excellence framework elements/modulesEnsure on time launch and execution of key milestones via the development of a detailed, tangible and actionable plan – hold teams accountable for deliverables and attainment of key milestonesLead launch readiness meetings, follow up on key workstreams and deliverables, and support alignment between local and global launch plansDesign / lead process to provide launch status updates, increase launch progress transparency, and escalate issues as needed to maintain progressLead creation of market development plan and support HRRm biomarker testing strategyLead development and implementation of peer-to-peer initiativesCollaborate closely with U.S. Marketing Team, the International Commercial office and CoLab to ensure successful launch preparations in marketsSupport key leadership deliverables and communicationsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred10+ years of commercial experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, including strong track record in marketingGlobal and/or US launch experience is an assetOncology, specialty, rare disease, or diagnostics experience is a plusStrong team player with demonstrated ability to engage experts from a wide range of functional areas to improve business performanceAbility to work independently across senior level stakeholders with demonstrated judgement of what needs to be escalatedExcellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written)Robust analytical/planning skills and ability to multi-task under pressureSelf-starter, comfortable with ambiguitySolid understanding of today’s Global and US pharmaceutical environment, incl. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
