Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a UX Designer for a contract position in Redmond, WA. The opportunity will be nine months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Position Summary: We are hiring a UX and visual designer to develop, create, and modify user interfaces and design assets for our organization. Candidate should have a strong portfolio and experience in the industry.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:Deliver high-quality design assets (UX & visual) on timeUtilize Figma to create designs and prototypesCreate scenarios, process flows, information architecture diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, UI pattern libraries, interaction guidelines and other artifacts required to develop and evolve designs for a set of enterprise products, and services.Work collaboratively on a larger design team made up of interaction designers, visual designers, motion designers and front-end developers focused on end-to-end experiences.Follow coherent patterns and guidelines or help create them as applicable.Execute all design activities with high-quality and thoroughness.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required5+ years experience requiredStrong portfolio showcasing high-quality UX (depth and breadth) & visual design workYears of Experience Required: 10+overall years of experience in the field, but open to candidates with less experience but with very strong portfolioDegrees or certifications required: A degree in UX or digital design is preferred, but open to considering candidates with strong portfolio and relevant experience.Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain strong communication skills, adaptability, strong visual design skills, and personal drive and determination (evidence of continuous learning and skill development) .Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on quality of work and meeting deadline, along with ability to collaborate and communicate with colleagues and stakeholdersMinimum 10 years experience with Visual Design Skills, but would consider candidates with less years of experience if they have strong portfolioMinimum 10 years experience with UX/UI Dessign Skills, but would consider candidates with less years of experience if they have strong portfolioProficient with FIGMA
Preferred:Experience in software design and developmentExperience in professional UX/UI developmentExperience with visual design for digital purposes (PPT design, brand design, logo design, icon creation)Strong communication and problem solving skillsGood fundamental design skills (typography, iconography, composition, color, layout, etc.) and creation of a variety of visual mood boards, storyboards, creative briefs, and motion and visual guidelinesAbility to quickly produce elegant and easily understood diagrams, wireframes, concept maps, prototypes, interaction guidelines and other related artifacts for a strong interaction point-of-viewAbility to create videos and video assets is preferredAbility to design in 2D and 3D is preferred
