About The Role

POSITION SUMMARY

The Communications and Marketing Specialist will have a dual reporting relationship to the Human Resources Director and division President. The primary focus includes leading the functions and various tasks related to Communications and Marketing such as coordinating marketing events and materials, managing internal/external communications and relationship management data, social media site management, and direct mail/email campaigns. This position is also responsible for the oversight of the division Community Reinvestment Act and provides general support to the HR function as needed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Communications and MarketingLead the coordination of special events for customers and assist with other bank sponsored events.Create in-house graphics and marketing materials.Work with Haberfeld representatives in development of mailers for potential customers, internal shops, and selling the Haberfeld way training.Manage High Performance Growth (HPG) for Big Day promotions and in branch gifts and displays.Develop and schedule email marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.Generate reports and conduct data analytics within the nCino Salesforce/CRM system for existing customer and prospecting purposes.Work with internal compliance to ensure marketing materials are with company policy guidelines.Make periodic branch visits to ensure branch staff are using up to date collateral items and branch marketing materials are current and in compliance.Update and manage company website, intranet, and social media sites in compliance with bank policy.Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)Administer the policies and proceeds for division compliance with the CRA Program.Lead the coordination of the division's community outreach activities and special events.Assist management, lending staff and branch relationship managers with identifying community development opportunities within division's market area. Community development activities include community development loans, service activities, and donations that qualify for CRA.Oversee CRA tracking and reporting the division's CRA activities into the Kadince system.Conduct CRA training for all division employees and board members.Maintain required CRA branch files and notes as required by regulation and GBCI policy.Human Resources SupportAssist HR with various duties to support the HR function as directed by the Human Resources Director.Division CoordinatorCRA CoordinatorHPG/Haberfeld (High Performance Growth) CoordinatorEverFi CoordinatorPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.About You

QUALIFICATIONSKNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:Bachelor's degree in related field; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Excellent understanding of niche marketing concepts.Advanced understanding of social media marketing strategies.Strong knowledge of data analytics and ability to interpret and communicate results.Proficient with Microsoft and Adobe Suites.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently.Ability to maintain strict confidentialityStrong organizational skills.Excellent customer service skills.Prior banking experience preferredWORK ENVIRONMENT:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
