This role will support the Jets Social Media department across various platforms and initiatives. This person will assist in the ideating, creating and posting of content, monitoring and facilitating the social conversation, helping with analytics and the promotion of organizational priorities. This person will support all social platforms but spend significant time on YouTube, TikTok and overall social metrics.Responsibilities:• Create, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily to help grow fan engagement and following on all platforms but with particular focus on YouTube• Help compile analytics and build campaign recaps for all Jets social platforms• Follow trends and content opportunities happening on social platforms to make suggestions on how team can leverage, relevant to the team's social media strategy• Help manage social content calendar (player birthdays, holidays, etc.) including daily content along with broader communications and marketing campaigns• Assist with coverage - social, video - at community events to streamline and maximize the exposure for team initiatives• Monitor and communicate with followers of Jets' accounts to further build relationship with fanbase• Assist photo/video team with photo tagging and video loggingRequirements:• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, multimedia production or related-field preferred• Deep understanding of all social media platforms, specifically Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, LinkedIn and TikTok• Must be highly collaborative in the ideation/development/execution process• Experience with digital/social tracking tools preferred• Experience using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere• Be willing to work unusual hours, including weekends and holidaysGENERAL INFORMATION
