Marketing Assistant (Law Firm Experience)

We are conducting a search for a motivated Marketing Assistant with a minimum of one year of experience in marketing and/or business development, ideally within a law firm. A Bachelor's degree is required for this position.
This is a hybrid schedule with 3 days in office required.
What You'll Do:
Work closely with Partners to oversee the development and execution of business development plans and initiatives to ensure coordination of overall strategy; Collaborate with attorneys on tailored proposals/pitches and best practices for tracking pitches; Provide research for business development efforts including company reports, litigation reports, contact research, press compilation; Conduct business intelligence on key competitors and marketplace trends in an effort to exploit market differentiation; Identify cross-practice and cross-region synergies and drive related marketing/business development initiatives such as client teams; Plan and coordinate Firm events, seminars, and webinars including but not limited to venue logistics, invites lists, attendee registration, and preparing promotions materials Prepare, review and revise directory and award submissions and prepare analysis of results regarding same; Maintain marketing content for a variety of practice groups, including collateral, attorney biographies, practice descriptions and related news items. Handle administrative requests and queries; Support an active public relations strategy by writing press releases, fielding press inquiries, monitoring press; working in coordination with external public relation consultants. What You'll Bring:
1+ years of marketing and/or business development experience in a professional services environment required, preferably a law firm; Bachelor's degree required; Strong leadership skills with ability to influence and advise partners on direction with strong execution and follow through; Excellent project management skills and ability to work well under pressure with deadlines; Must be a team player, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization; Excellent organizational and project management skills; Excellent written and verbal communications skills; Excellent interpersonal skills; Advanced knowledge of InDesign, PowerPoint, Excel; Advanced knowledge of website management and Umbraco; Experience using a CRM preferred. Vaccination required; hybrid schedule- 3 days in office required.
