Seattle, WA . The ideal candidate will come with 3+ years of experience in designing print and packaging materials for CPG clients. This is a
part-time (~10-15 hours per month) ,

contract opportunity. Compensation for this position is expected to be
$40-$55/hour
depending on experience level and fit.
What You'll Do:
Design and develop print and packaging concepts for a variety of products, ensuring functionality, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal.Collaborate with marketing, product development, and manufacturing teams to create packaging that meets specifications and market needs.Conduct market research and analyze competitor packaging to identify trends and opportunities for differentiation.Prepare detailed design specifications and technical drawings for production.Ensure all packaging designs comply with industry regulations and sustainability standards.Create prototypes and mock-ups to test functionality and visual impact.Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback into final designs.Stay updated on packaging technologies and materials to continuously improve designs and processes.Assist in managing project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion of packaging projects.What You'll Need:
3+ years of experience in packaging design.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.Strong portfolio showcasing innovative packaging designs.Excellent understanding of print production processes and materials.Ability to think creatively and solve problems effectively.Strong communication and collaboration skills.
