The ACD works closely with the Creative Director to help manage a multidisciplinary team by demonstrating curiosity, fostering collaboration, and leveraging creative chops to inspire the creation of original content.

In this role, the ACD is responsible for driving the Creative Director's vision for our agency, ensuring that all deliverables align with our clients' strategic goals and brand identities. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and objectives, translating these insights into innovative and effective creative solutions. The ACD must show a natural ability to lead, inspire, and mentor a team of creative professionals crucial to maintaining the high standards of quality and creativity that define our agency.

The ACD is vital in securing new business opportunities and enhancing the agency's reputation for excellence in both the manufacturing sector and the local creative community. RESPONSIBILITIES

Report directly to the Creative Director.

Maintain the integrity of the Crafted brand.

Assist the Creative Director in overseeing the creative process from concept to completion, ensuring all work is high-quality and aligned with client objectives.

Support the development and maintenance of strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and translating them into effective creative strategies.

Mentor and guide junior creative team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies and contribute ideas to the creative process.

Collaborate with other departments, including strategy, marketing, and production, to ensure cohesive and integrated project execution.

Present creative concepts and deliverables to clients alongside the Creative Director, effectively communicating the strategic vision and value.

Manage smaller projects or aspects of larger projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.

Contribute to the development of original content that resonates with target audiences and achieves marketing goals.

Assist in the development and maintenance of brand guidelines for both the agency and its clients.

Support the integration of AI and other advanced technologies into creative solutions, enhancing the effectiveness and innovation of our deliverables.

Participate in new business development efforts, contributing to proposals and pitches as needed.

YOUR REQUIRED EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

10 + years of digital design/marketing agency experience.

3 + years in a creative leader or director role.

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field.

Proven experience in a senior creative role, preferably within a design or marketing agency.

Ability to think strategically and creatively, with a strong attention to detail.

Strong personal website or online portfolio showcasing a range of creative work across different media and industries including manufacturing.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate creative professionals.

Strong communication and presentation skills able to articulate creative concepts and strategies to clients and team members.

Solid understanding of branding, marketing, and advertising principles.

Proficiency or an understanding in creative agency software tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, HubSpot, Office 365 and Jira.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Experience with AI technologies and their application in creative processes.

Passion for creativity and innovation, with a commitment to staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
