Congregations worship together (one service) each Sunday- typically at 10am. Familiarity with both traditional and more contemporary church music is desired.Responsibilities- Select music pieces for Sunday worship: 3 hymns/songs, opening music/prelude, postlude/closing music.- Work with the pastor to coordinate opportunities to enrich worship and the life of the congregations with music.- Select music for special services in Advent and Lent: Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, and Good Friday.Requirements- Strong musical background and knowledge; piano proficiency required, organ proficiency desired.- Flexibility in working with a range of music skills in others.- Excellent communication and people skills.Job Types : Part-time, ContractPay : $20.00 - $24.00 per hourExpected hours : 2 – 8 per weekExperience :
