This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Senior Designer is responsible for working with YMCA leaders, volunteers, members, and subject matter experts to uncover and develop compelling print/web collateral from concept to completion. As a Senior Designer at the Y, you lead an environment by creating visual concepts that both inspire and inform.QUALIFICATIONS:

2. Minimum 3-5 years experience in graphic & web design
3. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere for video work, and in-depth knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office.
4. Innovative and creative thinker with a proven ability to create great content for Y materials.
5. Certified CPR/First Aid/AED and NLO within designated time of hire.
6. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
7. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
