The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking an Annual Giving Manager for Digital Marketing & Design to join the Annual Giving team in the Office of Advancement. This position is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of digital fundraising strategies for the Office of Annual Giving. This position will promote the importance of philanthropy to the faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of UAB through developing and implementing a comprehensive digital strategy using email, crowdfunding, social media, and text channels and will work as an integral team member to facilitate a successful fundraising program. The Annual Giving Manager should have the ability to create a multi-channel strategy and be able to work with other team members to achieve success.

This position will report to the Director of Annual Giving.

This position is hybrid-eligible following the probationary period.

Responsibilities:

Manage digital fundraising and solicitation campaigns across the web, socials, email, and text.

Create and design both print and digital communication materials.

Lead Giving Day program and committees.

Manage the Future Blazer Alumni and recruit and train students.

Perform other duties.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or Related Field.

2 years of related experience.

Preferred Additional Qualifications:

Experience with InDesign and social media platforms strongly preferred.

Experience with GiveCampus, ThankView, Marketing Cloud, and iModules preferred.

Video editing experience.

Ability to problem-solve.

Ability to train others.

Ability to use personal computer and related software.

Ability to work independently.

Interpersonal skills.

Organizational skills.
