Considering applying for this job Do not delay, scroll down and make your application as soon as possible to avoid missing out.Who we are looking for:We are seeking a highly experienced and result-driven Associate Marketing Director to lead a dynamic China marketing team and partner with the global marketing team to drive B2C marketing strategy for China and achieve the business growth target.How you will make an impact:Be responsible for B2C marketing strategy and plan for China. Lead a B2C marketing team to engage and impact our Research and Learning community and to achieve Wiley’s strategic objectives and content growth goals in China.Build strong alignment with the global marketing team in strategy and key projects, and work with the global team to deliver key programs for the China B2C market, including: (1) Drive branding and position Wiley as a leading publisher, (2) Grow hybrid and OA article submissions and acceptance via enhanced data-driven marketing, (3) Increase our author base by attracting new authors to Wiley’s journals.Liaise with the marketing and editorial teams on subject-level, journal-level, and author-level strategies. Set B2C marketing KPIs (author contact leads, MI submissions, acceptance, and MI OA revenue), ensuring the overall B2C marketing team delivers the performance as expected and achieves maximum ROIs.Build an effective work model with the editorial team. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals, including: (1) working with cross-functional teams, such as local and global Editorial, Marketing, Data Analysis, etc., to roll out China key initiatives, ensuring marketing efforts align with business objectives; (2) partnering with editorial and other stakeholders in high-profile author engagement programs and events for growing impact and building a broader author & reader community in China.Be responsible for B2C marketing budget planning and spending and measuring the ROIs.Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing innovations. Explore new opportunities/channels to drive incremental growth and better performance for key marketing initiatives. Use data-driven insights to optimize future campaigns and improve overall B2C marketing effectiveness.What we look for:A Master’s degree in Science or Social Science.8-10 years’ experience in the publishing industry and B2C marketing.Experience in team management and leadership in marketing.Solid understanding of marketing principles, including author marketing, journal marketing, social media marketing, OA marketing, branding, marketing KPIs, and ROIs.Demonstrated experience in leading a marketing team and delivering marketing performance and success across various channels.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive marketing content and deliver effective presentations.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.About Wiley:Enabling Discovery, Powering Education, Shaping Workforces.We clear the way for seekers of knowledge: illuminating the path forward for research and education, tearing down barriers to society’s advancement, and giving seekers the help they need to turn their steps into strides.Wiley may have been founded over two centuries ago, but our secret to success remains the same: our people.
