UX DesignerHealthcare ClientLocation: Fully remoteContract: Long term contractPay Rate: $50-$60 /hr. on W2 with benefitsDescription:We're looking for a curious and thoughtful UX Designer to join our design team. A highly collaborative and passionate group, we create easy-to understand online experiences that help improve people's lives. Our team leverages an iterative user-centered design process to solve some of the health care system's most complex problems. As a Designer, you will forge strong relationships with cross-functional team members to understand user needs, influence product strategy and deliver exceptional user experiences.Responsibilities:Collaborates with product management, other designers, data and analytics and engineering in discovery or requirements gathering sessions.Participates in strategy & roadmap sessionsBuild design artifacts based on analytics, user research and best practices.Ability to ideate & provide multiple solutionsRegularly shares work and accepts design feedback, refining designs based on feedback received.Participates in design reviews & provides constructive feedback to othersIf working on the final user interface, defines final layout, font, colors, padding/spacing rules that align with the our brand. Sources images, icons or videos needed to design and complete the work.When presenting, clearly articulates the problem being solved, how the user accesses the experience and how they progress through it.Manages timelines, milestones and internal processes on feature work to ensure timely delivery.Serves as the subject matter expert on the capabilities across the different portals, surfaces and channels.Has a deep understanding of the design patterns, applying them appropriately.Partners with the research team to prep and build prototypes for user testing.Mentors other designers.Required Qualifications:3+ year's experience in UX/UI design required, with 5+ years preferredA strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing digital experiences across web and mobile platforms.Expert-level understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices, including design pattern libraries and design documentation.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences.Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and best practices is a plus.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Proficient using Figma to document designs and create prototypesA portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects, demonstrating creativity, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
