This position is located in the News and Science Writing Branch (NSWB), Office of Communications and Government Relations (OCGR), Office of Science Management and Operations (OSMO), Office of the Director (OD), National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
Ready to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply.To qualify for the Supervisory Technical Writer-Editor GS-14 level, you must meet the following qualification requirements:You must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following tasks:
Writing and editing papers that translate research and communicate the institute's programs and activities, particularly those involving major plans, policies, and research advances directed toward improving health and well-being among various populations.Providing a full range of editorial support to management and professional staff on materials intended for publication or presentation.Managing the research, development, and composition of a wide variety of written initiatives concerning complex scientific topics.Planning and directing information dissemination approaches.Providing advice on public affairs and communications matters to high-ranking personnel.
