Position Summary:

The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.In the Technology Strategy team, we address issues that need cross-departmental input and involvement with senior executives throughout the company. While in the commercialization team, we develop partner networks to support increased productivity, speed, and innovation. Walmart Commerce Technologies (WCT) is a new startup team within Walmart Global Tech commercializing internally developed technologies. WCT team is focused on externalizing proven Walmart technologies and packaging them as SaaS solutions for retailers and other companies.

We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to join our team and help shape the future of our enterprise SaaS platform. As a UX Designer at WCT, you will play a crucial role in creating intuitive, efficient, and visually appealing user experiences for our business users, focusing on dashboards, data visualization, and API integrations.

What you'll do:

Lead the UX design process from concept to implementation, creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for complex enterprise software features.

Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into user-centered design solutions.

Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and validate design decisions.

Design intuitive dashboards and data visualization interfaces that enable users to effectively analyze and act on complex information.

Create user flows, journey maps, and information architecture for enterprise-level software applications.

Develop and maintain a consistent design system and UI component library for WCT, collaborating with other Walmart Global Tech teams.

Optimize user experiences for both web and mobile interfaces, ensuring responsiveness and accessibility.

Contribute to the product strategy by identifying user pain points and proposing innovative solutions.

What you'll bring:

Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in UX design, preferably in enterprise SaaS or B2B products.

Strong portfolio demonstrating your design process and problem-solving skills for complex software applications.

Expertise in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.

In-depth understanding of UX best practices, information architecture, and data visualization techniques.

Experience designing for business users, including dashboards, analytics interfaces, and API integrations.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on design implementation is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the retail industry.

Experience working on 0-1 B2B products in a startup setting.
