The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience research and a deep understanding of the media and entertainment industry. You will be responsible for conducting research to inform the design and development of our products, ensuring they meet the needs and expectations of our users.Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct user research studies, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic researchAnalyze and synthesize research findings to generate actionable insightsCollaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to integrate research findings into the design processCreate user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to communicate research insightsAdvocate for the user and ensure their needs are considered throughout the product development lifecycleStay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UX researchREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in a related field; Comparable work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree3+ years of experience in UX research within the media and entertainment industryStrong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environmentPreferred Qualifications:

Experience with UX research tools such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, or similarExperience creating and maintaining research repositoriesKnowledge of design thinking and user-centered design principlesFamiliarity with media production workflows and technologiesThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
