Full-timeDescription: Small Girls PR is looking for a Senior Vice President to inspire and guide day-to-day strategy, lead a small team and oversee media relations for fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands. The work coming out of this team drives major pop-culture conversation and is a mix of quick-turn, of-the-moment genius and fully integrated, strategic programming. As the team lead, the SVP will also help inspire and lead an incredible team that is eager to continue to grow and deliver.There is no one-size-fits-all for an SGPR client which means your career will be further enriched with meaningful and diversified experience. We've handled mergers for GE, announced Esusu as one of the first Black-owned tech unicorns, created a closet calculator to see how recycled clothing impacts the environment with thredUP, and tapped the Green M&M as Zappos’ newest “shoefluencer” ahead of the Super Bowl, when M&M’s spokescandies were put on hiatus. This team specifically works with challenger brands like Billie, ideating campaigns that upend the way we think about the Pink Tax, female body hair, and the unrealistic body standards placed on women.Note: This role is based in our NYC office, working two days a week in the office on a hybrid schedule, employees at this level do have some additional flexibility available to them.How You'll Make an Impact:

Hold one of the most senior positions in the firm, supporting leadership on implementing new protocols and policies.Manage and mentor a growing team of 5+ staffers.Concept and implement structural changes to optimize efficiency and improve work quality.Act as high level strategic lead, directing client strategy, brand messaging, tentpole campaign concepts, and high stakes comms with the support of your senior team members.As a creative thought leader, this position hosts brainstorms, reverse engineers virality, and leads the creation of share-worthy moments for our brands.Lead your team’s finances, including managing profitability, staffing matrixes, planning and budgeting-- all with the support of a dynamic backend tool that allows you to determine, in real-time, how adding a new hire or account could impact your team's destiny.You will be an integral part of new business, reviewing our inbound pipeline to both voice the brands you are passionate about taking on, as well as to develop the proposals and concepts that win the hearts and minds of new partners.Why we’ll love you:

As a result, we work within salary bands to ensure our teams are compensated fairly. For this role, employees are eligible for a variable bonus in addition to the salary threshold, therefore the pay range for this role is $180k - $210k.Our senior level roles are accompanied by a compelling total compensation package. The variable bonus is inclusive of several performance targets which are outlined in an offer letter.
