Responsibilities

Post Consumer Brands recently acquired several iconic pet food brands, venturing into a new market while remaining true to our purpose to provide delicious and accessible food that our consumers love. As consumers continue to trade down in the category due to their strapped wallets, Post’s two value brands, 9 Lives and Gravy Train are well positioned to surprise and delight consumers.The Director, Marketing-Value Brands & Business Process will lead the general management and strategic growth plan for the Pet Value Brands portfolio which represents over $500M in annual revenue across Dog and Cat. This senior leader will have full P&L accountability and be ultimately responsible for delivering on all volume and profit objectives for the Value Pet brand business.In addition to leading the Pet Value Brands, this person will also lead Enterprise-wide efforts such as the Marketing lead for Integrated Business Planning. This responsibility will require leadership across the Marketing Team to ensure that the team is taking a consistent approach to consumption-based forecasting. In addition, this leader will be pivotal in coordinating the development of key stakeholder materials such as QBR and Monthly Business Review materials.Responsibilities:Develop and guide the Pet Value Brands objectives, goals, and strategies.Identify opportunities to drive revenue, margin, and profit growth.Assess the element of risk to manage a balanced and funded portfolio of products.Manage the appropriate processes, tools, and metrics to support new opportunities.Lead cross-functional, multi-market teams to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.Assess and prioritize business initiatives in an environment of rapid change. Ensure necessary resources for business initiatives.With their internal marketing services partner, champion the integrated communications process to drive exceptional consumer communication.Provide management, coaching, and professional guidance to direct reports focusing on developing functional, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

Education:Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or other related field. MBA preferred.Work Experience:Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in theCPG industry, pet preferred, demonstrating excellent general management skills including marketing, strategic planning, project management, market analysis, research planning, portfolio management, and P&L management.Superior ability to create a clear and compelling vision.Working as a general manager, demonstrate the ability to develop and commercialize products that leverage the organization’s core strengths and capabilities.Proven ability to grow a business that balances the need to grow revenue and profit while establishing or reinforcing the brand.Experience managing people, ideally for five years or more. Must have superior managerial and coaching skills, including the ability to develop talent and future leaders in the organization.Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills with all levels of management and with cross-functional partners.Ability to interpret external forces and trends, and then develop strategies and initiatives to take advantage of opportunities on a timely basis.The energy, drive, and influencing skills to successfully commercialize projects even when significant hurdles are presented.The ability to use world-class processes to help drive decision making but use agility and speed as they lead others through theprocess.Strong financial skills that include managing the P&L, pricing, COGS, margins, budgets, cash flow, and capital investments.Exceptional organizational and process management skills; Ability to mobilize cross functional teams of people through integrated business planningWork LocationThis role is in our Lakeville, MN office with a hybrid schedule of in-office 3 days per week.#LI-hybrid
