Part-time Teaching Artist Position
Ready to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply.Alexandria Children’s Theatre is seeking a Spanish speaking teaching artist specializing in musical theatre to work with students Tuesday afternoons at Mount Vernon Community School in Alexandria. The school offers a dual language program and admin. wants students in grades 3-5 to participate in a theatre experience starting early November – late March to experience the joy of theatre. Ability to develop choreography and teach songs and dances for a final bilingual performance for parents is required.Hours: 2:15 – 3:30 on Tuesday afternoons. Interest in finding a show with roles for 30 young actors is a must. The candidate will be supported each week in rehearsals by a staff member of ACT. Payment will be $75 per class.
