Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing and New Product Development, Syros Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Director, Marketing Strategy. A pivotal phase 3 trial for tamibarotene is currently underway and this role will help to drive strategic launch planning for this asset, which represents our first anticipated commercial product launch as an organization.

Identify key insights and anticipate future opportunities and barriers through synthesis and integration of business intelligence on market, competition, and scientific trends
Leverage a deep understanding of oncology healthcare customers, including providers, key opinion leaders, patients, and market access stakeholders to inform the go-to-market approach that drives customer behavior change and market performance
Develop the annual and long-term strategic marketing plans
Formulate the omni-channel marketing customer engagement strategy
Design integrated marketing campaigns
Plan and implement advisory boards to address key strategic questions
Develop brand value story in collaboration with Access and Medical Affairs teams
Assemble lifecycle management plan; lead scenario planning and product forecasting in collaboration with Analytics and Finance teams

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of progressive biotech/pharmaceutical commercial experience, including minimum of 5 years in a marketing role
Oncology launch experience required
Track record of innovative strategy development, alignment, and implementation
Demonstrated success in product launch planning and accelerating brand uptake
Proven ability to collaborate and influence across functional and organizational boundaries as a strong team player
Substantial success working in cross-functional environments across diverse teams including Medical, Access, Finance, Legal, Regulatory
