Not sure what skills you will need for this opportunity Simply read the full description below to get a complete picture of candidate requirements.The Manager of Production Audio is responsible for leading the Audio team in establishing and maintaining the safe and consistent operations of all show audio and communications systems for all performances and events for the Zouk Group venues. Operate front of house audio console, troubleshoot audio, RF, and communication equipment as directed for performances, artist soundchecks, events and maintenance.Primary Job Duties:

– Includes but is not limited to:Oversee operation of and troubleshoot show audio and communication systems during performances. Primary operator of house mix sound console for performances.Develop inspection & maintenance schedules and procedures.Manage and supervise the Audio Department, including completing staff performance reviews, assisting with hiring of new employees, and managing the budgets & capital expense projections.Assist establishing and maintaining training and backup plans to assure continuity in performance operations of the audio department. Plan staff requirements and schedules for all maintenance and training calls.Maintain and update the installation specifications, sound plot and cueing documentation, inventory of supplies and equipment, and all pertinent inspection and maintenance records.Coordinate with other departments of Zouk Group Operations as needed to run the performances and rehearsals.Collaborate with artist and guest teams to present live performances, televised, and corporate events.Work with the Operations team regarding changes and ongoing development of the Zouk group shows and events. Work on and develop special projects as required.Establish emergency procedures for show systems with the Operations Teams and the Technical Team, assure everyone is trained and familiar with these procedures.Maintain a flexible schedule for work calls, special events, rehearsal/training, maintenance, and evening show performances.Participate and oversee special projects including the installation of new audio show elements.Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.Adhere to and promote all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations as they pertain to the safe operation of all elements related to the show; participate in all required health and safety classes and emergency rescue procedure training.Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.Perform other job-related duties as requested.Qualifications:

Includes but is not limited to:Experience installing and maintaining large scale theatrical audio systems and equipment, computerized audio consoles, networking, electronics, RF systems and frequency coordination.Must be proficient in the operation and repair of audio gear including: audio console mixing, RF, and communication systems. Electronics training and audio equipment repair an asset.Experience as a vendor/client liaison for complex projects from start to finish.Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics.Good general understanding of all technical aspects of a show.Working knowledge of AC/DC theory and electrical safety.Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.Personnel management experience is an asset.Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.Flexibility, autonomy, team player.Strong communication skills.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.Preferred:Ability to read and comprehend A/V system drawings, specifications, technical manuals.Technical-level knowledge and experience with digital and analog A/V technologies.Strong working knowledge of technical show control software especially QSYS, ShowKontrol, and L’Acoustics systems.Strong working knowledge of audio hardware to include Digico and Midas audio consoles, Shure wireless RF systems, and Pioneer DJ systems.Strong working knowledge of information technology systems, network infrastructure and operations.Strong working knowledge of industry standard A/V technologies, best practices, and service programs.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Visio.Working knowledge of AutoCAD.Minimum Education and Experience:College diploma (or equivalent) in live entertainment or theatre production (or equivalent work experience).Must be 21 years of age.At least five years of previous experience operating and maintaining AV systems and/or theater experience with large-scale productions.At least three years previous leadership/management experience.Preferred:Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.Previous experience working in Nightlife.Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
