The Role:

We are looking for a certified, experienced Change and Communications Consultant manager with strong leadership and client delivery skills! The change and communications manager role is a key driver of execution, service, and value within the Starr & Associates team. In this role, you will be responsible for devising and executing strategies for change management and communication to drive engagement among our clients and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Working in close collaboration with our client's senior leadership, you will analyze the organization's needs, formulate change initiatives, and implement strategies for effective communication.

The Work:

Create, communicate, and implement change management strategies and plans that ready the organization by anticipating and minimizing resistance and business disruption.

Collaborate with clients and project teams to assess change requirements and develop comprehensive change management strategies.

Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of change management efforts.

Develop and manage workforce communication and engagement strategies.

Create high-quality written materials for available communication channels.

Conduct stakeholder analysis to understand key stakeholder needs and develop strategies to address them effectively.

Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and meetings to gather feedback and foster a culture of open communication.

Collaborate with the learning and development team to develop training programs that support change initiatives.

Deliver training sessions to equip associates with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate changes.

Provide coaching and support to managers and leaders to help them effectively lead their teams through change.

Collect feedback from associates and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in change management and communications.

Lead teams to improvements through the application of Agile best practices.

Here's what you need:

Bachelor's or master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Business Management, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field of study.

Change Management certification ACMP/PROSCI training/certification preferred.

5+ years of experience in internal corporate communication or in a related area.

Proven experience in change management or organizational development.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Demonstrated experience managing large, complex projects.

Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with communication tools.

U.S. citizenship required.

Bonus points for:

Certifications in Agile PM structures.

MBA or similar advanced degree.

Construction experience.

Experience with JIRA or other Agile tools.

Management consulting or professional services experience.
