Salary Grade:160ESalary Pay Range for This Position:$98,900.00 - $148,400.00POSITION SUMMARY:

Manages marketing programs, promotions, and projects that effectively promote the organization's products and services. Responsible for developing promotional programs and tracking programs to ensure department needs and goals are met. Ensures the projects/programs adhere to compliance regulations and policies. Develops and maintains internal and external business relationships. Manages production of marketing materials that support marketing programs. Responsible for the development of corporate communications pieces for the organizations.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:

Manages all aspects of the day-to-day execution of campaigns following approved process and procedure. Including, but not limited to marketing program development, data management, lettershop activities, print production, digital marketing promotions, and campaign evaluation.

Works closely with department product managers to determine marketing strategy and objectives for assigned Wescom products and services. Develops marketing collateral, promotions and programs based on these needs.

Works with marketing writers and graphic designer to ensure marketing programs and projects are written and designed in a manner which best promotes the product or service. Distributes drafts of materials to appropriate managers for input and approval prior to campaign launch.

Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, establishes and administers content and content creation for employee intranet, including the employee blog. Develops topics, maintains an editorial calendar, researches, writes, and formats blog entries. Conducts interviews when appropriate and interacts with the appropriate Wescom staff members to gather and verify factual information.

Works with programmers to develop back-end processes that support marketing programs and ensure program efficiency for staff members. Responsible for developing work orders and validating processes for accuracy.

Utilizes desktop publishing software to update basic marketing materials including signage, flyers, print ads, and digital materials.

Develops and manages monthly statement insert and message program.

Responsible for management of branch video system.

Responsible for using appropriate channels to communicate marketing promotions to staff members including attending staff meetings to communicate updates and new marketing programs.

Maintains an awareness of new trends and developments in marketing and credit union products and services.

Stays informed of digital developments in the marketing field and Credit Union operations.

Interacts with legal and compliance staff to ensure marketing programs and materials meet all regulatory requirements.

Maintains high standard for all marketing materials ensuring little to no errors.

Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Ideal candidate must have proven ability in marketing program management and an understanding of marketing concepts.

Should be a self-starter with experience working in a timeline driven environment.

Must have strong organizational skill and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Should demonstrate ability to work successfully across departments and divisions, providing a high level of service to internal and external customers.

Must demonstrate an ability to think critically and strategically and work across multiple departments and divisions building relationships that instill confidence.

Must have a high degree of knowledge about pre-printing, printing, mailing, and digital marketing (social media, video editing, email etc.).

Design and copywriting/editing ability is essential.

Experience with desktop publishing and illustration software strongly preferred.

Must be deadline-oriented.

Bachelor's Degree and minimum of three years prior marketing experience required. Financial Services Industry experience preferred.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.

Strong proof reading and editing skills.

Ability to effectively work on multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines and produce high quality work.

Ability to evaluate and enhance operational and process procedures.

Ability to meet deadlines and budgets.

Ability to deliver campaign results and report on response rates.

Must be creative and have innovates ideas for campaigns.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Highly proficient with Microsoft applications, including Excel and PowerPoint;

Experience with desktop publishing software such as Quark, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Experienced with HTML, Java script, CSS.

Social media marketing (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).

Experience with blogging applications such as Word Press or Type Pad.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
