Community Manager II.Pay:Our Leasing Specialist can expect to earn an annual salary of $59,000 to $69,000 depending on experience, education, and training.Benefits:As a Maiker employee you will receive a generous benefit package including:Twelve paid holidaysMedicalDentalVisionHAS or FSA accountsCompany paid Life & AD&D insurance and Short-Term and Long-Term Disability401(k) plan and PERA pension planAccident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity plansWhat Will You Do?The Community Manager II is responsible for full cycle property management job duties, including marketing and leasing, member management, regulatory compliance, financial management, reporting and data entry, and maintenance direction in coordination with the Regional Maintenance Supervisor. The Community Manager II completes these job duties or assigns to supervisors under their supervision and guidance.The Community Manager II sets and meets goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) focused on NOI, occupancy, revenue, collection rate, member satisfaction, compliance requirements, employee satisfaction, and accuracy/response time to maximize property performance and support to members.Properties aligned with the Property Rehabilitation Project have multi layers of funding the include HOME, Tax Credit, and PBV units. The Community Manager II manages larger properties that are tax credit or market rate, multi-site communities, or smaller communities that are more complex subsidies.What Will You learn ?Our Housing Specialist plays an important part in Maiker Housing’s subsidized housing programs. (Position Requirements)Education and ExperienceHigh School degree or equivalent education level3-5 years of experience as a Community/Property Manager in Affordable HousingCertifications, such as CAM, CAPS or CPM, are very desirable5+ years of affordable housing leasing experience, affordable housing program expertise5+ years of management/supervisory experienceExperience with budgeting and property cost control, proactive budget managementProficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and OutlookWorking knowledge of Yardi Property Management softwareBilingual in Spanish/English preferredKnowledge and SkillsDemonstrated success as a Community Manager IIExcellent listening, verbal, and written communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsStrong organizing and planning skills, with ability to manage multiple projects and prioritiesDetailed, accurate, and consistently meets deadlinesStrong mathematical skills including fractions, decimals, percentages, and ratiosDefines problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusionsUnderstands and interprets technical procedures and governmental regulationsManages for results, holds team accountable and provides resources and supportExceptional teamwork, involves others in the decision-making process, as neededFlexible and open to new ideas and responsibilities, handles pressure, adjusts to changing needsPhysical Requirements and Working ConditionsRegular computer use throughout the day, ability to sit for lengthy periods of timeStand and walk on hard surfaces, and go up and down stairsLift/push/pull/carry various objects of 10 – 20 lbs. frequently and 30 – 40 lbs. occasionallyReach to shoulder level and above, and bend at the hips and kneesThe employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions while performing their jobThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderateApplicants who are authorized to work in the US will only be considered for this position.
