American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading provider of payments for small, mid, and large corporations globally. The Marketing Strategy and Content team provides strategic thought leadership, engaging content, and enterprise connectivity to fuel impactful, efficient, and cohesive B2B marketing. Within this team, the B2B content strategy & production team drives impact for our customers and American Express by providing differentiated educational and inspiring content that empower businesses.

How will you make an impact in this role?

Business Class is an educational resource for today’s business leaders, providing them with captivating stories, pertinent tips, and enlightening insights from business professionals, industry frontrunners, and adept entrepreneurs. The B2B Content Strategy & Production team serves as the content development Center of Excellence supporting Business Class, our B2B content platform. The team is responsible for setting the strategy for content that services small, mid and large corporation and executing on content publishing in partnership with agency partners and our counterparts on the Content Strategy & Production team.

The Senior Manager of B2B Content is responsible for the development of innovative, best-in-class content to engage and inform business leaders and decision makers. We are looking for a Senior Manager, Content Strategy, to develop and implement strategies that expand reach and engagement within our target audience of business leaders and decision makers. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role working with a smart, fun team of editors, content strategists, social media marketers and more. They will work across internal and external teams and partners to produce innovative, performance-driven content both on and off our owned platforms while maintaining a customer-first focus and ensuring quality and compliance. To be successful, this person will have an editorial eye, digital publishing knowledge, and a passion for driving results.

Minimum Qualifications:

6+ years of relevant work experience in content, publishing and / or marketing

Bachelor's Degree required

Advanced skills in MS PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships across multiple cross-functional partners

Proven ability to manage and drive forward projects, including those with white space

Exceptional prowess in achieving results against tight schedules, overseeing diverse priorities, and executing flawlessly

Expertise in customer marketing strategies– capable of crafting content that resonates with audience segments and inspires actions.

Enthusiasm and experience in organic search, including audience strategies, and an eagerness to introduce innovation; familiarity across platforms and publishers is a bonus

Zeal for grasping customer behavior and assessing the external marketplace

Strong data-driven storytelling skills to help drive incremental value for the Business Class platform

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
