Hit Apply below to send your application for consideration Ensure that your CV is up to date, and that you have read the job specs first.Equipment Qualification Technical Directors at the Curtiss-Wright Nuclear Division will own:Engagement on relevant committees to ensure CW aligns and leads industry directionBusiness Development (International and Domestic) leading to orders in support of profitable growthHands on project and technical leadership for complex bids and projectsAs the Equipment Qualification Technical Director you will design, develop, and test a wide range of electrical and electromechanical components and equipment for systems integral to the safety of nuclear power plants. You are responsible for the performance of complex, highly technical projects in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures, and guidelines. You must rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Creativity and latitude are expected to resolve problems of diverse scope. You will play a vital role within the assigned business segment supporting project schedules and customer deliverables. You will work in a team environment with the support and guidance of management. This position requires interaction with customers, suppliers, operations, quality assurance, and sales to support both domestic and international products and services.Location:

Inclusive & Supportive Culture *Your ChallengeExpand current and add new industry committee memberships to align with Curtiss-Wright Nuclear Division long term strategic plans and appraise leadership of developments in the industry.Own international and domestic business development, securing new customers and new applications.Represent Curtiss-Wright at industry events as the subject matter expert for equipment qualification.Provide technical support or project manage supplemental qualification activities of existing products to address changes in customer EQ requirements and new/supplemental qualifications of CW products to meet EQ requirements associated with SMR and AR power plants in development.Support domestic and international market development where customers’ requirements may need to be reconciled with existing product qualifications and/or negotiate scope for re-qualification.Lead/Support Complex commercial grade dedication and equipment qualification bids and projects through frequent travel to our Ohio and Ontario Canada facilities.Willingness to get in the weeds, analyzing data, writing reports.Researching answers for technical questions/issues in areas that you do not currently have expertise.Mentoring/ Training junior staff.Lead/Support R&D for qualification of digital devices.Support our NQA 1 QA program as an additional reviewer/ preparer for ongoing qualification work.Work collaboratively with all team members to achieve project objectives including safety, quality, and customer schedule.What You BringBachelor’s degree in EngineeringMBA (preferred)Ten (10) to twelve (12) years of experience in Nuclear equipment qualificationExcellent organization, communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.Recognized Industry presence on committee’s and standards working groupsThe ability to lead and effectively manage time between multiple projectsProficient computer skills with Microsoft Office experienceWilling to travel up to 50%, internationally and domesticallyWho We AreOur ValuesEnvironmental, Social and GovernanceCurtiss-Wright Nuclear focuses on the provision of products and services to the commercial nuclear power industry and Department of Energy facilities.
