We have been retained by our client, an award-winning, mid-sized Engineering Firm in the Charlotte, NC area, to find a
Building Automation Designer . This role will be responsible for designing and supporting building automation systems, including HVAC, lighting, and access control systems.
Please read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying.Duties:Develop detailed design and installation plans for building automation systems.Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate implementation of system designs.Provide technical support during project execution and system commissioning.Prepare and review system documentation, including control diagrams and sequences.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.3+ years of experience in building automation system design.Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant software for automation systems.Strong understanding of HVAC, lighting, and access control systems.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
