About the Role
The Senior Director of Marketing Partner Management will be responsible for leveraging Gap Inc.'s portfolio scale to maximize the performance and value received from all marketing partners. Sitting within the broader Marketing Shared Services organization, this role is part of a new approach for Gap Inc., where you will be tasked with managing the enterprise-wide marketing partner roster. As the Sr. Director of Marketing Partner Management, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of current Gap Inc. partners, inclusive of agencies, technology platforms, media companies, and other marketing vendor partners. You will work in close partnership with the Gap Inc. Procurement organization and will be responsible for guiding the evaluation and selection processes for new strategic partners, inclusive of agency RFPs. Additionally, this role will collaborate closely with Brand and Marketing Shared Services stakeholders, as well as Finance, Legal, and Procurement teams to manage partner delivery against all contractual requirements.
What You'll Do
Oversee the enterprise-wide marketing partner roster, ensuring Gap Inc. has best-in-class marketing partnerships with enterprise technology and media partners.Recommend and implement governance practices around partner roster management, new partner evaluation, criteria for selection and approval, and onboarding.Manage partner performance by developing scalable feedback frameworks (e.g., scorecards, consistent KPIs) for marketing stakeholders to optimize performance and working relationships.Develop joint business planning structures with key strategic partners to drive increased value across all four Gap Inc. brands.Drive ongoing strategic alignment and management of Gap Inc.'s agency roster, ensuring agency partners are appropriately incentivized and compensation is aligned with value received.Guide agency review processes when evaluating new agency partners for the portfolio.Act as the point of contact and link from Marketing to Financial, Legal, and Procurement for all systems and billing, reconciliation, and contracting of current partners.Provide inputs to the annual budget process including industry expectations regarding inflation and diversification in media partners or channels.Provide marketing subject matter expertise and input with Financial, Legal, and Procurement when drafting and negotiating new partner contracts.
Who You Are
10+ years of marketing experience, 7+ years in Marketing Operations or the equivalent.5+ years of experience managing teams, with a proven track record of collaborative leadership, coalition building, and driving unity among disparate teams.Experience owning key marketing partnerships on behalf of brands, inclusive of agencies, media, and tech platforms.Experience leading formal RFP review processes for agencies and strategic partners.Experience partnering with Marketing leadership to directly influence outcomes in a matrixed environment.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and drive consensus across multiple teams and functions.Change agent and motivator, with the ability to build bottoms-up teams and approaches, and foster positive culture change at Gap.Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work through ambiguity, transform enterprise-wide ways of working, and infuse strategic thinking across levels.
