Adobe Design is seeking an Experience Designer to join our team in crafting the experience for the extended Acrobat products. We work closely with business, marketing, engineering, and research to deeply understand customer needs and deliver the industry standard in Documents and define the future for them. From the small details to big-picture feature concepts and long-term strategy, our work is put to the test by millions of customers across a variety of fields and experience levels every single day.What You'll be Working onIn this role, you'll be responsible for crafting and enhancing user interfaces for our products, ensuring they are both functional and visually appealing. You'll work with marketing, product management, and development teams to define design architecture, specifications, and requirements. Using design tools, you will construct storyboards, samples, prototypes, and templates for demonstrations and user testing.Additionally, you'll review proposed product changes or improvements to ensure they meet our user experience standards and suggest adjustments. Staying updated on market trends and user experience research will be essential as you refine our products.You'll also conduct user design research and analyze data to ensure our designs meet user needs and preferences.What You'll DoWork closely with product teams, designers, and users to dive deeply into user journeys to identify problems, re-frame into opportunities, and co-create requirements and design plans.

Go through an end-to-end design thinking process, from storyboards to user validation sessions

Craft prototypes in XD by using your creativity and follow a design system

Shadow and assist senior designers in workshop facilitation, user research, and leadership readouts

Advocate for the user throughout the design process

What You Need to SucceedBachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in design with an emphasis on graphic design, HCI, or a related design field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.Awareness of how visual design languages and UI frameworks affect the design processStrong social, written and oral communication skillsWillingness and ability to contribute to the creative spirit of the Design team and companyLove of all things designOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $61,600 -- $135,900 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
