Manage high-priority projects that require coordination and advanced production requirements.Demonstrate the ability to step into problematic projects and provide positive direction and practical solutions.Conceptualize, create, and edit media of different styles, including lectures, screencasts, demonstrations, dramatizations, documentaries, tutorials, webcasts, and promotional content.Operate cameras, lighting equipment, audio, teleprompter, wireless microphones, and other related audio/video equipment during studio and field recording sessions.Edit raw video, incorporating stylistic techniques and effects, while selecting music, stock footage, b-roll, designing motion graphics, and applying digital video effects to produce a polished, high-quality final product.Lead projects involving complex filming, editing, audio recording, logistical planning, and other production needs.Ensure delivery of content to vendor platforms and other partners.Guide new team members through training sessions, assisting colleagues with troubleshooting technical and logistical challenges, and promoting innovation among Media Designers through hands-on mentorship and collaborative efforts.Enhance quality and flexibility of production workflows through innovation and creativity within projects.Minimum Requirements:

3 to 5 years experience supporting faculty creating multimedia elements for instructional materials.Succeed in a diverse and collaborative environment, with an ability to create and find solutions that meet the needs of both the learner and us.Demonstrated expertise of basic principles, practices, techniques, technology, and standards of videography and audio production.Experience operating production equipment, post-production equipment, and non-linear editing software at a high level.Demonstrated ability in refined and efficient editing of dialogue.Experienced in leading shoots on location and in-studio. Advanced experience with technical and logistical issues.Expertise creating motion graphics and designing digital video effects in programs such as Motion, Adobe After Effects, or other graphic design software applications.Capture, engineer, mix and master complex multi-track audio recordings.Experienced in writing, developing and producing scripts from conception to completion.Experienced in navigating higher education while supporting faculty.A thoughtful and experienced mentor with the ability to guide team members to reach their full potential.Please Note: This is a 5 year term limited position with the possibility of renewal depending on funding.The mode of work for this position is

Hybrid . The work requirements for this position allow both onsite and offsite work, and you will have an expected regular and recurring onsite presence. The general salary range for this position is $63,000 - $70,000. You can expect to be paid a great compensation package. Factors used to determine salary include education level and experience for the position and internal equity within the unit.
