About this opportunity:
Support the Marketing and Public Relations Manager in executing the marketing plan for The Salvation Army Augusta Command. Responsibilities include creating engaging social media content, scheduling posts, and tracking performance analytics. Assist with marketing projects and website updates as needed.
Key responsibilities:Provide support to the Marketing and PR Manager, assisting with daily operations of the department to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.Assist with creating and scheduling engaging social media content, monitoring analytics, and adjusting strategies as needed.Support marketing projects and web content updates, ensuring all platforms are current and relevant.Collaborate with program managers on marketing needs for events and promotions, ensuring consistent messaging across social media and web platforms.Create flyers, brochures, and other marketing materials as needed, following The Salvation Army's brand standards. Maintains regular updates to all Command wide websites and social media platforms.Regularly update all social media platforms and the organization's website with fresh content, promotions, and announcements.Monitor all community points of information in the Kroc Center (flyer racks, bulletin boards, banners, signs, etc.) seeing that they are being updated, have current materials, and meet brand standards.Performs other duties as assigned.What we are looking for in you:
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in marketing or a related field combined with two years - experience working in the business marketing and/or PR field.An essential proficiency with Carva, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator or similar editing software, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office, Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, and other social media platforms, ORAny equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Manual dexterity, travel by automobile, ability to meet attendance requirements, ability to lift and carry 30 lbs.
