Job Overview
ITC seeks an AV Integration Project Manager to oversee multiple AV projects in a university setting. The role involves project management, system commissioning, and engineering responsibilities, ensuring successful AV deployments that meet ITC standards and client expectations. Experience with Crestron systems, installation, and remote collaboration with engineering teams is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management & Client Engagement:
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious execution.
- Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining clear communication with university stakeholders.
- Develop project schedules, resource plans, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, subcontractors, and vendors for smooth project execution.
- System Engineering & Commissioning:
- Lead AV system commissioning, ensuring proper installation, configuration, and testing.
- Work with remote engineering teams to configure systems, load/dump code, and fine-tune functionality.
- Assign IP addresses and integrate AV devices into networks.
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
- Perform testing, programming, and configuration of control systems and networking components.
- Provide on-site training and technical support.
- Ensure proper documentation, including diagrams and user guides.
- Team Leadership & Supervision:
- Participate in AV system installations, including mounting displays and running cables.
- Maintain safety protocols and site organization.
- Develop daily work schedules and manage team performance.
- Monitor technician timecards and expense reports.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in AV integration or project management.
- Knowledge of AV system design, installation, and commissioning.
- Experience with Crestron control systems, including basic programming.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with higher education AV environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- CTS or CTS-I certification (preferred).
- Knowledge of Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, and other AV systems.
- Experience managing AV projects in educational or corporate settings.
Compensation
The pay range for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, based in Augusta, Georgia.
