NIKE, Beaverton, Oregon, us, 97078
The Jordan Design team is inspired by the Greatest of All Time and is focused on continuing to deliver product that is made and engineered to the exact specification of championship athletes. On and off the court, we want our consumers and athletes to feel confident in the way they look and feel, the same way the greatest player who ever played the game felt every time he laced up his J’s. As a Jordan Design Apparel Expert on the Excellence team, you’ll lead in innovative design processes, ensuring high-quality, functional apparel that resonates with our Jordan consumer. Through continued research and consumer connection, you can quickly anticipate and identify key trends that translate into relevant products, emphasizing what’s unique about our culture. You will also respond to business objectives with creative design solutions aligned to consumer insights. The ideal candidate is a highly creative problem solver, who doesn’t settle for anything less than the best designs, to meet the needs of the consumer or athlete. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of the digital landscape.

You'll also monitor the development of prototype samples and interact with our Development, Pattern Making, Material, and the Sample Room to exchange ideas and ensure timely completion of each project. You'll maintain and continually expand upon expert knowledge of current trends, color, and consumer-related products through market travel and research. You'll provide guidance to Designers and team members and share knowledge, experience, skills and best practices with others. From concepting to crafting seasonal collections, from working with manufacturing partners to communicating directly with athletes and collaborators, the daily responsibilities of this role are wide ranging, ambitious, and rewarding.
