This position supports the organization's Risk Management/ Patient Safety program through investigation and analysis of potential and actual adverse events, claims, and regulatory compliance and accreditation related occurrences or deficiencies, participation in Root Cause and Intense Analyses, and relevant committee attendance. Performs risk analysis in order to maintain protection of organization's assets; Investigates any incidences that may result in asset loss; and compiles findings in reports for further review, along with actual or potential injury to patients and visitors, collecting information necessary to prepare for defense of claim.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree - Clinical Discipline or health care related field. Or equivalent educ/experience,
Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
5 years - Healthcare related experience in a responsible position requiring contact with various departments. Two of the five years required must be clinical patient facing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification as Healthcare Quality Professional or Healthcare Risk Management Professional or able to obtain within 3 years of hire.
Demonstrated leadership experience
