How This Role Impacts Live Oak and its People

The experiential aspect of our brand is key to foster and develop relationships that create loan and deposit growth. This role is responsible for planning, development, execution and measurement of events that connect the loan teams to customers, potential customers and referral partners.

What You'll Do at Live OakEnsure that the strategic impact and experience desired is achieved at Live Oak Bank's eventsServe as event project manager, responsibilities include, but are not limited to pre-event planning, landing page and invite creation, registration tracking, event logistics, hotel blocks, collateral and gifting, budget management, related travel arrangements, staffing, event follow-up and reporting.Collaborate with marketing, sales and other departments to align strategies with business goals, enhance brand presence, event requirements, and drive lead generation with key audience segments.Manages and successfully executes custom events, multi-day summits, sales and business meetings, training events and employee appreciation events, to drive pipeline for business units, inclusive of concept creation, venue and vendor sourcing, event marketing and event logistics.How You'll Do It

Successfully execute contracts for events; venues, sleeping room blocks, activities and transportation.Manage on campus inventory and 3rd party vendor relationships as needed.Effective budget management and reconciliationAbility to operate on campus meeting space, power user of Zoom and Teams functionalities for on campus meetings and events.Serves as main point of contact for events at LOB headquartersWorks with vendors to deliver physical manufacture and delivery of marketing materials.Work with marketing and sales teams to facilitate post-event marketing tactics.Required and Preferred Experience

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or Travel and Tourism is required.2-4 years relevant experience in event and/or tradeshow management.CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) is preferred, but not required.Management of multiple complex simultaneous projectsSkilled in vendor management, negotiation and RFP execution.Financial reporting and budget tracking.Proficiency in event management software and tools for registration and attendee tracking.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Demonstrated proficiency in successful and simultaneously managing the execution of multiple tradeshows and events to be required timing, budget, and performance standards.Ability to effectively interface with managers, cross-functional teams, and customers.Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.Effective budget management and reconciliation.Proven experience in the meeting, tradeshow and convention space; knowledge of systems, terminology and onsite logistics.To Thrive at Live Oak

The base pay range for this position is $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year. Compensation may also include annual bonuses and long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy. A candidate's salary is determined by several factors including travel, relevant work experience or skills and expertise.
