We’re Looking For A: Head of Content to build a new content production team, drive performance, direction, and strategy for this new team. Responsible for optimization of promotional video content to meet overall company goals.
Location: Hybrid, Woodland Hills CA
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Recruit and lead team to produce short-form and long-form marketing videos using a data-driven, test-and-learn approach
- Find and manage relationships with video partners, such as talent/influencers, creative agencies and software vendors.
- Manage workflow & output by setting deadlines, priorities, production guidelines/standards, and goals for the department
- Manage overall structure and growth of the team — includes coaching/mentoring managers & individual contributors, overseeing training of new employees to drive team growth and individual development
- Collaborate with IT and external vendors to evaluate, implement, and integrate new technology solutions as needed.
- Manage budgets and closely monitor project spending to make adjustments based on timeline, schedule changes or changes in scope of work
- Drive company goals in conjunction with other managers and executives
- Ensure that production meets expectations & timelines set by different departments
Qualifications (Note: We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, media production, business administration, or related field or experience
- A Master’s degree in business administration (preferred)
- 7+ years of previous experience as production executive
- Experience analyzing marketing stats and video metrics and ability to draw conclusions and proper action plans
- Experience negotiating talent, endorsement and product placement and vendor agreements.
- Experience with creative and physical production and managing budgets/scheduling
- Experience with data-driven content optimization for Youtube and social media
- A highly creative self-starter who can work both independently and collaborate well with different teams.
- Works effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies, trends, and best practices in digital content and media production.
- Ability to align content strategies with long-term business objectives and drive innovative ideas that support growth and development.
- Strong understanding of video production processes, standards, and trends in digital marketing.
- 10+ years of experience in content production, digital marketing, or a similar field, with a strong emphasis on video marketing and storytelling (preferred)
- 5+ years of management experience, including leading teams, mentoring managers and individual contributors, and overseeing cross-functional collaboration (preferred)

The base salary range is $106,500-$142,000, plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.
