Overview

The Senior Director, Media Operations play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of our Media Operations. The Director is responsible for ensures all operational processes are maintained and reviewed regularly to conform with best practices.

ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of managing the day-to-day operations of the account with a high level of accountability, ensuring team members are utilized efficiently and processes are implemented and governed with high rigor.Partner with the Managing Director on legal requirements and finance for ad hoc procurement needs, for smooth coordination and execution with a sense of urgency.Develop global standardized templates and workflows to streamline project execution and improve overall efficiency, paying high attention to detail to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.Create and maintain organizational charts, distribution lists, and a team database, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in keeping them up to date and accurate.Foster a culture of trust, accountability, ownership, bias for action, frugality and excellence within the market teams, taking ownership of driving this cultural shift and ensuring efficient and effective collaboration.Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and media reporting deliverables based on client requirements (e.g., time utilization reporting, spend forecast, AVB, Unbilled, etc.). Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices and reconciliations in partnership with local market teams and act as an escalation point for any financial queries, both internally and with clients.Collaborate with global finance and local agency teams to ensure strict adherence to budget management, authorization, forecasting, billing, and media clearance processes. Develop, govern, and adapt finance playbooks to establish consistent financial processes across the network. Ensure all financial obligations are met by having a solid understanding of client contracts.Prepare fee proposals for client review and presentation by owning the staff plan and scope of work process and support the Managing Director in negotiating the annual staff plan.Responsible for ensuring accuracy in operational processes relating to Media Operations.Lead and manage the media operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's success.Develop and implement media operation strategies, processes and workflows to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, aligning with business objectives.Develop and implement frameworks and methodologies to measure and sustain operational excellence and collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align operational initiatives with overall business strategy.Overseeing the utilization of Media Operating tools and systems for accuracy and efficiency.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identify opportunities for innovation and growth.Acts as a thought leader and influencer in the field of operational excellence, actively contribute to sharing knowledge and best practices.Support the Managing Director in negotiating the annual staff plan.Foster a culture of trust, accountability, urgency, and excellence within the market teams.Experiences

10-15 years' experience in media operations, preferably in an agency or media organization.Strong knowledge of media planning, buying, and optimization across various channels.Relevant post-secondary education, training, or equivalent experienceExpertise in media systems; DDS, PRISMA, MediaOcean, PlanIt, MediaTools, Google Marketing Platform (CM360, DV360, SA360, Google Ads), Social Business Managers, Digital Platforms etc.Comfortable compiling information to aid in developing lasting, scalable processes and solutionsFlexibility in analyzing, understanding, and managing various forms dataAbility to coordinate with teams to manage/understand a variety of campaign requirements, classifications, budgets, timelines, and tactical taxonomies

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.

Compensation Range

$180,000-$215,000 USD
