Local SEO Specialist

We are a dynamic pest control company with five out-of-state locations dedicated to providing quality service to our customers. As we grow, we’re looking for a skilled Local SEO Specialist to join our team at our South Weber, Utah office. This in-house role is essential to strengthen our local online presence and expand our reach in each of our locations. Job Overview: We’re seeking an experienced Local SEO Specialist who understands the unique challenges of optimizing for local search. In this role, you’ll track, analyze, and optimize our rankings for location-specific keywords and manage our Google My Business (GMB) profiles for all five locations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SEO, especially within the realm of local SEO strategies, and be passionate about achieving measurable results. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and optimize local SEO strategies to improve our rankings across multiple locations Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and new areas for growth Oversee, update, and optimize Google My Business (GMB) profiles for all locations to enhance visibility and drive engagement Track and report on keyword rankings, website analytics, and GMB metrics Identify and execute link-building opportunities and other local SEO techniques to increase online presence Collaborate with the marketing team to align SEO strategies with broader digital marketing goals Monitor SEO trends and algorithm updates, adapting strategies as necessary to ensure optimal performance Requirements: Minimum of 4 years of experience in SEO, with a strong focus on local SEO strategy and best practices Deep knowledge of Google My Business management, local keyword optimization, and other local search strategies Proficient with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms Demonstrated success in improving local search rankings across multiple locations Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Compensation and Benefits: Starting at $50,000 per year, based on experience Comprehensive benefits, including PTO and health insurance How to Apply: If you’re passionate about local SEO and ready to make an impact in a growing company, we’d love to hear from you Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience and achievements in local SEO.
