Local SEO Specialist Job at Vinx Pest Control in South Weber

We are a dynamic pest control company with five out-of-state locations dedicated to providing quality service to our customers. As we grow, we’re looking for a skilled Local SEO Specialist to join our team at our South Weber, Utah office. This in-house role is essential to strengthen our local online presence and expand our reach in each of our locations.

Job Overview:

We’re seeking an experienced Local SEO Specialist who understands the unique challenges of optimizing for local search. In this role, you’ll track, analyze, and optimize our rankings for location-specific keywords and manage our Google My Business (GMB) profiles for all five locations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SEO, especially within the realm of local SEO strategies, and be passionate about achieving measurable results.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and optimize local SEO strategies to improve our rankings across multiple locations
• Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and new areas for growth
• Oversee, update, and optimize Google My Business (GMB) profiles for all locations to enhance visibility and drive engagement
• Track and report on keyword rankings, website analytics, and GMB metrics
• Identify and execute link-building opportunities and other local SEO techniques to increase online presence
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align SEO strategies with broader digital marketing goals
• Monitor SEO trends and algorithm updates, adapting strategies as necessary to ensure optimal performance

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in SEO, with a strong focus on local SEO strategy and best practices
• Deep knowledge of Google My Business management, local keyword optimization, and other local search strategies
• Proficient with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms
• Demonstrated success in improving local search rankings across multiple locations
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting at $50,000+ per year, based on experience
