Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Public Relations Manager to join team on a full-time basis. This role is hybrid in Detroit, MI.
As a Public Relations Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective public relations programs to support the growth of the company.
$90-$120k salary
Onsite 3x a week, occasionally more as needed
Full-time, 40 hours/week
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic public relations programs
- Identify and cultivate story opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets
- Write press releases, articles, and pitch story ideas to media contacts
- Plan and manage press tours, conferences, and events
- Lead multiple concurrent projects effectively
- Serve as a media advocate for senior leaders
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in public relations or related field
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- C-Suite facing ability, comfortable presenting to executives and leadership teams
- National experience and experience working with large media partners/distribution
