Over the last few years, supply-chain constraints and significant safety incidents arising from lithium-ion batteries have reduced confidence in the suitability of the technology. We have developed a revolutionary new chemistry that enables the highest performing non lithium-ion battery in the industry, that is inherently non-flammable, non-toxic, and cost effective.
We are looking for a creative and results-driven Content Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that primarily focuses on attracting new customers and partners while also building brand awareness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content marketing, a passion for storytelling and an enthusiasm for ClimateTech / Energy / Sustainability / etc. Candidates must be self-starters with a bias to action and an ability to be excellent team players. You will be responsible for developing relevant content for our target audiences, propagating it in the appropriate channel(s), measuring its effectiveness and adjusting as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy & Planning:Develop and implement a content marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives and targets key customer and partner segments within the stationary storage market.
- Create a content calendar that prioritizes lead generation and partnership opportunities, while also supporting broader brand awareness initiatives.
- Content Creation & Distribution:Produce high-quality content that attracts, engages, and converts prospects into customers and partners. This includes blog posts, videos, interviews, opinion pieces, infographics and more.
- Work with third parties (analysts, industry thought leaders, customers, partners) to develop surveys, reports, testimonial videos, etc.
- Creative derivative short-form content from new and existing long-form assets in collaboration with Product Marketing to increase the leverage and impact of those assets.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts within the company to create content that demonstrates our expertise and thought leadership in the energy storage space.
- Content DistributionOptimize content for SEO and ensure it is distributed effectively across multiple channels, including the company website, social media, email campaigns, and industry publications.
- Manage the company’s presence on social media, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement with the audience.
- Manage company website content (including landing pages for SEO, etc.), coordinating with digital agency as needed
- Coordinate with PR agency to enhance the impact and reach of our content
- Identify and pursue opportunities to showcase our brand through speaking engagements, industry events, and guest articles.
- Content programs and CampaignsDevelop targeted content campaigns that drive lead generation and nurture relationships with prospective partners and customers.
- Set up and managed automated marketing campaigns for different content tracks and prospect segments
- Analytics & Optimization:Track and analyze the performance of content marketing efforts, using data to refine strategies and improve results.
- Regularly report on key metrics, such as lead generation, engagement, and conversion rates, to demonstrate the impact of content marketing on business goals.
- Continuously test new content formats and distribution methods to optimize reach and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in content marketing and creation
Experience with B2B marketing and channel marketing environments
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to create compelling content across multiple formats. Design competency is a plus, as is familiarity with design tools (i.e. Canva, Photoshop).
Proven track record of developing content that drives customer acquisition and partner engagement.
Experience with SEO best practices, content management systems (CMS), and marketing automation tools (preferably HubSpot).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced startup environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and report on content performance.
Experience working in with growth companies in dynamic industries
Bachelor’s degree required
