In this role, you will help lead daily client relations, plan and execute day-to-day project deliverables, support and mentor junior staff and conceptualize strategies, pitches and media placements.** This role is available only to candidates based in or near West Palm Beach, FL on a hybrid basis, in-office 3 days per week.Responsibilities:Strategic Counsel and Client RelationsDevelop and implement comprehensive media strategies to increase brand visibility and secure positive media coverage for wealth management firmsCultivate relationships with key financial and top-tier media outlets, journalists and influencers to promote our clients' services and achievements.Be an active participant on client calls by contributing to brainstorming, flagging concerns and problem-solving with executive members of our client teamsManage the PR Specialists and work alongside external contractors as needed for project executionEnsure overall maintenance of account infrastructures, including editorial calendars, media target lists, etc.Content Preparation and CommunicationCraft persuasive press releases, media kits, and engaging PR content, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand messaging.Collaborate with scheduling to coordinate timely dissemination of press materials and PR efforts, maintaining organized communication channels.Facilitate effective communication within the team by providing links and/or PDFs of published content for reference and analysis, ensuring streamlined collaboration.Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, journalists, editors and industry influencers.Proactively identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration, guest articles, podcasting and thought leadership placements.Attend industry events, conferences and networking opportunities to expand professional network and stay updated on industry trends.Measurement and Reporting:Track and analyze media coverage, industry trends, and competitors' PR activities to identify opportunities for improvement and adjustment in PR strategies.Prepare regular reports and presentations to update internal stakeholders and clients on PR efforts, key metrics and ROI.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or a related field.6-8 years experience working in public relations, media relations or communications, with demonstrated success in financial mediaExceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to craft persuasive pitches, press releases and other media materialsStrong knowledge of media landscape, industry trends and current events in the financial sectorExcellent interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholdersAbility to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyA demonstrated track record handling multiple client accounts simultaneously, working quickly and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in PR and media monitoring tools, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office SuiteExperience in both agency and corporate settingsPAY & BENEFITSWealth Matters Consulting, LLC offers comprehensive benefit packages that provide economic benefits to full-time employees.
