Job Summary:
We seek a detail-oriented and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be key in organizing and executing customer events such as webinars, lunch and learns, and large-scale trade show events. Additionally, they will manage our social media channels, ensuring our brand voice is consistent, our events are well-promoted, and our online presence is maintained. This role will also involve interfacing with our product partners to coordinate their event participation.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Coordination (60%):
• Plan, coordinate, and execute customer-facing events, including webinars, lunch and learn, and trade shows.
• Collaborate with internal teams, product partners, and external vendors to ensure efficient event logistics.
• Develop event timelines, manage budgets, and coordinate all event-related communications.
• Assist in creating promotional materials, including invitations, landing pages, and post-event surveys.
• Track and report on event metrics, including attendance, engagement, and ROI, and recommend future improvements.
Social Media Management (30%):
• Manage and grow the company's social media presence across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram platforms.
• Develop and schedule content that promotes our brands, events, news, and other relevant industry information.
• Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities, promptly responding to comments and messages.
• Track social media performance metrics and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations.
Partner and Vendor Coordination (10%):
• Interface with product partners to coordinate their event participation, ensuring alignment with event goals.
• Maintain strong relationships with partners, acting as the primary point of contact for event-related inquiries.
• Collaborate with partners on co-marketing initiatives, ensuring their brand presence is well-represented in events.
Administrative Support (10%):
• Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
• As needed, support the marketing team with other duties, including research, content creation, and internal communications.
• Maintain organized records of all marketing activities, including event plans, budgets, and social media calendars.
Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of experience in event planning, marketing coordination, or a related role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a creative flair for social media content.
• Proficiency in social media management tools and event management platforms.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with CRM and email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, MailChimp).
• Knowledge of the latest trends in digital marketing and event planning.
