Marketing Communications Manager

We are seeking a versatile Marketing & Communications Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing and communications strategies across various channels. As a true generalist, you will play a crucial role in driving brand awareness, generating leads, and supporting overall business growth.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Collateral & Campaigns

  • Develop marketing materials that support business initiatives, including presentations, product brochures, advertisements, and promotional campaigns.
  • Create, launch, track, and manage lead-generation campaigns to maximize reach and impact.
  • Analyze campaign effectiveness and recommend budget allocations to ensure optimized spending and ROI.

Marketing Channels

  • Oversee and optimize marketing efforts across digital and traditional channels to effectively reach target audiences.
  • Maintain and enhance our WordPress website, applying SEO best practices to drive site performance and usability.
  • Manage social media presence on relevant platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement to build brand loyalty and increase customer interaction.

Brand management and communication

  • Develop, implement, and enforce brand standards and messaging across all communications to ensure a cohesive brand identity.
  • Create public relations strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts with organizational goals and streamline communication workflows.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and activities, using dashboards and CRM systems to maintain data quality and adhere to department procedures.
  • Allocate resources effectively and prioritize tasks to meet strategic objectives.
  • Remain informed of industry trends and apply innovative strategies to stay competitive.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor and evaluate marketing trends and best practices to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop thought leadership content, including blog posts, white papers, and industry presentations, to position the company as an authority in relevant markets.

Event Planning & Management

  • Collaborate with an event coordinator to develop event strategies that align with corporate objectives, and oversee event execution.
  • Secure and manage speaking engagements (panels, conferences, webinars, podcasts) to enhance thought leadership and establish market presence.
  • Oversee industry memberships and participate in committees and boards to foster strategic relationships.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • 7+ years in marketing, communications, or related roles, with proven experience in managing multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Self-sufficient and confident in their abilities across various areas like campaign management, brand strategy, and reporting
  • Demonstrated experience in content development and thought leadership initiatives (e.g., blogs, white papers, etc.).
  • Proficiency with web content management (ideally WordPress), CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
  • Comfortable researching, learning and implementing new marketing technologies.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze marketing performance metrics and report on outcomes.
  • Capable of working independently and managing a wide variety of marketing tasks with minimal oversight.

Preferred experience in restoration, Insurtech, construction, or roofing
