As
Brand Communications Associate
for AVE, you are responsible for the management of existing and new programs that drive positive reputation for the brand including but not limited to resident communications, feedback surveys, public relations, ESG, and brand social media, ensuring they meet or exceed brand performance KPIs, as well as align with the brand's messaging strategy and values, vision, and mission.
The
Brand Communications Associate
is a service- and solutions-oriented thinker who is dedicated to creating raving fans of AVE through best-in-class reputation programs. They will report directly to the SVP: Brand Communications, be an active member of the AVE Marketing & Communications team, and work closely with Property Leadership and cross-functionally with Brand Departments including but not limited to Operations, Asset, IT, Talent, and HR.
This position will be based 100% on-site at one of our Pennsylvania or New Jersey properties, with travel to other AVE locations nationwide approximately 10% of the time.
Responsibilities:
Resident Communications (40%)
Serve as Communications Lead on Resident Satisfaction Survey program, driving Brand KPIs for Resident Satisfaction through strategic survey development, team member training, platform support, survey audits, property roll-outs, team progress meetings, and account managementServe as Communications Lead on Resident Welcome Folder Communications, collaboration with Operations to deliver a seamless move-in experience for all AVE residents through strong, proactive communications, including content development, brand presentation, team member training, and new property roll-outsServe on Resident Emergency Communications team - be on-call, shifts rotating with three other team members to provide 24/7 coverage to execute emergency communications for portfolio of residential communities to deliver strong communications and service excellenceBrand Communications (40%)
Serve as Communications Lead within the organization for LinkedIn channel performance including but not limited to executing sponsored ad campaigns to drive business goals for sales and marketing and talent acquisition, report on sponsored ad campaign performance, manage LinkedIn Navigator contract including sales team product engagement and reporting, serve as profile expert and train new team members on best practices and brandingProject manage Brand CampaignsServe as Communications Lead for Brand CSR/Sustainability efforts including management of brand partnerships (e.g. Move For Hunger, Habitat for Humanity, Standard Textile), campaign innovation/management, new team member training, performance reporting/driving Brand KPIsParticipate in PR calls and support with campaigns and initiatives, as neededResident Lifestyle (10%)
Serve as Communications Lead for Resident Mobile Lifestyle Applications, collaborating with Operations with providing platform support for property teams, program innovation/marketing integration strategy, new team member training, new property launches, and performance reportingDepartment Coverage (10%)
Provide coverage in the following areas in the event the Marketing & Communications program lead is out-of-office:
