POSITION SUMMARY:
The Vice President of Marketing leads our marketing efforts, implementing strategic growth plans by developing and executing an integrated marketing strategy informed by the Company’s strategic plan and brand positioning goals. Executive responsibilities include:
Providing marketing support to the Company’s four constituents:
Franchise Development
Franchise Support
Digital & Specialty Markets Sales
RMCF Corporate
Conducting market research, analyzing performance data, measuring campaign effectiveness, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure alignment with enterprise goals
Supporting sales initiatives while maintaining consistent brand messaging, enhancing online engagement through e-commerce and digital marketing initiatives
Managing a team of marketing professionals
Managing a team of product development professionals
Managing external-vendor relationships
Managing demand planning and identifying business risks and opportunities
Creating an annual budget and managing its implementation
Leveraging data analytics to inform decision-making
Interfacing with the Company’s Investor Relations firm to coordinate press releases and other public facing communications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Vice-President of Marketing will be accountable for and measured against the consistent delivery on the Company’s annual strategic and financial goals as follows:
Developing and executing an integrated marketing plan
Developing and managing the marketing department’s budget
Implementing the Company’s brand strategy and messaging
Reporting to the Executive Management team monthly with market research, industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities
Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs)
Managing the marketing and creative services team:
Evaluating employee performance
Improving performance while providing training and education
Upgrading the team’s talent and marketing intelligence
Coordinating artwork processes for new items.
Managing the product development team:
Developing innovative products based on franchise and digital customer needs.
Developing seasonal product lines and associated marketing campaigns
Communicating new product details to the production, customer service, and sales departments as well as to the franchise network
Upgrading the team’s talent and product development intelligence
Managing seasonal marketing calendar
Managing e-commerce and digital agency partners
Managing external channels relationships
Managing account details, new item development, and communication with partners, while supporting inventory planning
Managing relationships with our Demand Planning team during the forecast process
Identifying business risks and opportunities and establishing mitigation plans.
