Your time in the studio will be a mixture of voice and audio conceptualizing, prototyping, presenting, and debating ideas and solutions across a group of designers, engineers, and executives.Minimum QualificationsTrack record of project ownership, creative thinking, and cross functional collaboration in support of voice-led and audio-first product features.Portfolio demonstrating your voice and sound design thinking, hands-on expertise, and problem solving skills.Open and collaborative communication skills; capable of working in a multi-disciplinary design studio.Degree in Sound Design, HCI, Audio Interaction Design, Cognitive Psychology, Linguistics, or a related discipline—and/or comparable professional experience.Preferred QualificationsInnovative vision for intelligent voice experiences, demonstrating voice design principles and sound design expertise.High level of curiosity for technology amplified by your design craft.Understanding of Text-to-Speech voice creation and modeling.Experience with Accessible Voice Interfaces.Experience collaborating with voice talent in a recording studio environment.Voice production or sound design for interactive experiences.Additional RequirementsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.
