Join Takeda as the Neuromuscular HCP Marketing Lead, at the Associate Director level, located in Cambridge, MA. This is an excellent opportunity to shape and enhance Takeda's presence in peripheral neuromuscular conditions to elevate the standard of care and change patients’ lives. Peripheral neuropathies result from damage to the nerves outside the brain and spinal cord (peripheral nerves). Symptoms are weakness, numbness and pain, usually in the hands and feet. These conditions are underdiagnosed, and in some cases, patients' symptoms progress, causing serious imparity. Immunoglobulins represent the standard of care to treat some of these conditions. Takeda is the leader in MMN (Multifocal Motor Neuropathy) and recently expanded its presence with two brands in CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy). The right candidate will have the exciting opportunity to join the Team in a fast-paced early post-launch environment, shape the portfolio strategy, and contribute to the Team’s successes. This role will drive the execution of our branded and unbranded promotional strategy by implementing materials, activities, and tools for health care professionals. It will lead HCP Marketing activities and partner closely with the Sales Leadership Team to guarantee a disciplined execution of the strategy and identify new opportunities in the post-launch phase to further strengthen Takeda’s presence in the Neuromuscular space.

This role requires someone with good project management skills, attention to detail, and an agile response to change. To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach, willingness, and perseverance to go the extra mile for the success of the team and for patients.

How you will contribute:

Define the HCP Marketing strategy for the Immunoglobulins portfolio in MMN and CIDP

Manage and develop the HCP Marketing Team and motivate them to achieve results

Anticipate market changes and dynamics in customer expectations and strategize to guide the company to live up to those expectations in the fast-evolving competitive landscape

Responsible for the HCP annual brand planning and agency coordination through tactical planning

Lead the HCP Team through the development of all branded promotional materials, tools, and activities for HCPs and manage PRT (Promotional Review Team) reviews

Responsible for the planning, content coordination, and output of the Sales & Marketing Council recurrent meetings to ensure the appropriate collaboration and alignment between Marketing and Sales

Represent the main point of contact for Sales RBDs and collaborate with them to ensure the optimum execution of Marketing Strategy

Lead the HCP Marketing Team to ensure Takeda's presence at major Neuromuscular Congresses

Responsible for P2P content development and execution in collaboration with the Franchise Customer Engagement Team

Coordinate the Marketing Team to ensure regular alignment calls with the TLL (Thought Leader Liaisons) Team and collect insights from the Field in a structured way

Proactively analyze insights and data to define new workstream needs and work in collaboration with the cross-functional team to find solutions or define strategic implications

Budget management (including purchase orders submission, OPEX tracker, accruals management, etc.)

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

7+ years of marketing experience with a demonstrated record of success.

9+ years pharmaceutical industry or related experience with knowledge in Rare Diseases/Neurology or Neuroscience

Experience in leading Strategic/Brand Plan development

Sales or Sales management experience in the United States

Global Marketing experience preferred

Ability to successfully manage and navigate through PRT/CMLR processes

Comprehensive understanding of the US Healthcare system and distribution channels across institutions and specialty pharmacies

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$149,100.00 - $234,300.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
