Job Summary:
As a Mid-Level Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality documentation that effectively communicates complex software concepts and processes to diverse audiences. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, compliance teams, and product managers to develop user manuals, online help, process documentation, and training materials.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain documentation for products and services, including user guides, API documentation, policy manuals, and training materials.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand product functionality, and translate technical information into clear, concise documentation.Create visual aids such as diagrams, flowcharts, and screenshots to enhance documentation and improve user understanding.Review and edit documentation created by other team members for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with corporate standards.Ensure all documentation is up to date and reflects the latest product enhancements and regulatory changes.Participate in meetings with product and compliance teams to identify documentation needs and gather feedback on existing materials.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field.7-10 years of experience in technical writing, preferably with Readme and Atlassian technical writing tools experience.Excellent writing and editing skills with keen attention to detail.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly language for diverse audiences.Proficient in technical writing tools and software (e.g., Readme & Atlassian).Experience with content management systems and documentation standards.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with Agile methodology and experience working in an Agile environment.Experience in creating documentation for software applications.
