We are seeking a detail-oriented Front-End Web Developer to manage and enhance our website's user experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for quality assurance, web updates, and implementing creative solutions to improve the overall functionality of the site. This role involves close collaboration with marketing, design, and web operations teams to ensure that all digital elements align with brand standards and promotional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Web, email and flyer QA : Conduct thorough quality assurance testing for emails and promotional flyers, ensuring accuracy and optimal user experience.
  • Website promo Updates: Regularly update homepage promotional content to reflect current campaigns and offers.
  • Website custom landing pages: Design and implement custom landing pages for special promotions and events.
  • Customer survey and form creation: Create and manage surveys and monthly contest forms, ensuring smooth user flow and data capture.
  • Monthly feed updates: Maintain and update monthly feeds to keep the content fresh and relevant.
  • Developer ticket management: Process and manage 3rd party tickets for internal tasks and troubleshooting.
  • Promo image merchandising: Collaborate with the design and merchandising teams to optimize promotional images for the web.
  • Front end Forms: Create and manage web forms to streamline customer interactions and data collection.
  • Event page updates: Regularly update event pages with new information and schedules.
  • Website localization: Implement localization updates for various regions to enhance the user experience for different audiences.
  • Promo price QA: Ensure the accuracy of promotional prices across different platforms (website and ERP).
  • Promo page layout: Design and manage promo page layouts, including optimizing for three-across displays.
  • Footer updates: Maintain and update the website’s footer with relevant links and information.
  • New content block development: Propose and develop new content blocks and layout ideas for improving site functionality and aesthetics.
  • Sales reports & powerpoint: Create PowerPoint presentations summarizing past sales and campaign performance.
  • Featured product planning: Collaborate with the merchandising team to plan and showcase featured products.
  • Redirect management: Set up and manage URL redirects for updated or removed content.
  • Brand Pages (Carhartt, Hills, etc.): Update and manage brand-specific pages, ensuring accurate product representation.
  • Page & policy updates: Regularly update pages such as shipping policies, FAQs, Terms of Use, 4H, store hours, etc., to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree OR 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., Optimizely, WordPress, Shopify, Magento).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with QA processes and tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of web localization practices.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Basic design skills for image optimization.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently.
  • Passion for creating meaningful user experiences online and a strong analytical skill set.
