Momofuku Goods is seeking an experienced, data-driven Director of Content Strategy to lead and elevate our content initiatives. This role is responsible for overseeing our organic social media, influencer strategies, and briefing concepts for paid social. The ideal candidate is a content expert who understands what drives our business and how to leverage content across various platforms, including our website, social media, and paid media. This individual will manage a talented team, ensuring that all content aligns with our brand voice and business objectives.
Compensation Band: $130,000 - $150,000 annually

Responsibilities:
STRATEGIC PLANNING
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that drives brand awareness, engagement, and conversion across all digital platforms.
- Shape how and where customers interact with our content across paid and organic channels with an eye toward operational efficiency and growth through conversion, retention, and engagement.
- Lead quarterly content planning, tracking, and calculating of ROI to iterate based on performance.
CONTENT CREATION & MANAGEMENT
- Oversee the creation, curation, and distribution of high-quality content across organic and paid channels including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, TV ensuring consistency with our brand guidelines.
- Brief and develop compelling concepts for paid media campaigns, with a strong focus on revenue-driving short-form video content.
- Ensure the right content is sourced, created, and partnered with, to suit the appropriate channels, maximizing impact and engagement.
- Lead the team's influencer partnership strategy to ensure Momofuku's is constantly reaching new customers.
- Write detailed, compelling ad concepts for short-form videos that drive revenue and resonate with our target audience.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
- Work with cross-functional leaders including Design, Growth, Sales, and Brand Management to ensure that we are serving the right content to the right people on the right platform at the right time.
- Coordinate with the product marketing, insights, and integrated marketing teams to inform content strategy.
- Audit customer journey for each core business category to identify content gaps and opportunities to update existing content to impact conversion and retention.
- Communicate analysis results to senior management, use data to suggest ways to improve the business, and partner closely with Marketing and Growth leads in developing strategies to grow the business.
PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS
- Monitor, analyze, and report on content performance metrics, using insights to optimize future content strategies.
- Lead the sophisticated design, implementation, and measurement of various experiments to understand the incremental impact of content efforts.
TEAM LEADERSHIP
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of content creators, social media managers, and influencer specialists.
- Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to and help the Content team become world-class via mentoring others, contributing to cross-functional efforts, investigating new methods, and continually showcasing excellence in analytics outputs to others.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in content strategy and digital marketing, with a proven track record of driving brand growth and engagement across multiple digital platforms.
- Expertise in short-form video content and managing content for social media and paid channels, with a focus on performance and ROI.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring content creators and coordinating cross functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimize content strategies based on insights and performance metrics.
- Experience with advanced analytics tools, A/B testing, and influencer marketing, particularly in the CPG industry.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling ad concepts and collaborate effectively with senior management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working within high-growth consumer brands, particularly in the food and beverage sector.
- Strong understanding of audience segmentation and the ability to tailor content to different customer personas and stages of the customer journey.
- Experience in optimizing content production processes for efficiency, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.
- Proven ability to foster a creative and innovative work environment, encouraging continuous improvement in content strategies.
- Proven understanding and familiarity with the Momofuku Goods brand, systems, and core commitments.
